Advanced Training Courses for CSOs Capacity Building accomplished

On 8 June, the advanced training courses for the capacity building of civil society organisations in the framework of the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project accomplished. 15 participants from non-governmental organisations received their certificates.

Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Mentors’ Group Coordinator/Justice and Related Sectors Mentor of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project congratulated the participants and noted that NGO representatives will apply their skills and knowledge in their work activities.

Ani Harutyunyan, from Armavir Development Center NGO, noted that the organised training provided not only theoretical but also practical skills to the participants. “The course is important part of this program, because the program conducts monitoring, public policy development, advocacy, and I think it is very important to organise such training course just before the start of the program,” she said.

Almast Safaryan, President of “Hope 98” NGO of Vayots Dzor marz, noted that she has received a lot of knowledge especially in the field of advocacy, which she will use in future for various projects. “It’s a long time since we have been operating our NGO, but I think such meetings and trainings are necessary so that we can deepen our knowledge and we could conduct more accurate activities in our regions,” Almast Safaryan said.

The “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a Consortium of civil society organisations, which are the Armenian Lawyers’ Association (lead organisation), Agora Central Europe (NGO based in the Czech Republic), the Armenian Centre for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, the International Centre for Human Development, the SME Cooperation Association and the Union of Communities of Armenia.
