The composition of the governors will change completely. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told journalists after the inauguration ceremony of the government on May 21.

He also mentioned that there are certain legislative problems in different bodies and an attempt will be made to observe these issues in the context of the law.

Touching upon the appointment of the head of the National Statistical Service, the Prime Minister mentioned: “They were blamed in drawing figures, and we, in essence, created a counterbalance and did not assign our people to the National Statistical Service, but tried to create a counterbalance between the government and the statistics, so that no one was bound with obligation to draw figures for anyone,” Nikol Pashinyan said.

In response to the question Artur Vanetsyan was appointed as director of the National Security Service, the Prime Minister said: “Depending on the situation. I do not expect that there would not or should not be any criticism related to new appointments. I suggest and ask that we fix the point from which they have started working in that position and try to follow the commitment and performance of the obligations. I propose that the public, including the mass media, exercise full control, and I am sure that such a phenomenon with an official will be established and concrete actions will follow that,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
