Armenian scientists, Armenian citizens living abroad made a media statement inform about their solidarity with the citizens who came forth to struggle for their political and civil freedoms against authoritarian system.

According to the statement, they are closely following the events in Armenia urge the current authorities and the police to ensure the safety of peaceful demonstrators and exclude the use of force against them,

They call on Serzh Sargsyan to resign because during the decade of his being in office a lot of sectors including the science have suffered.
