The ceasefire regime along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijan opposing forces was violated around 40 times, from the night of December 29 to early morning of 30. During this time the Azerbaijan armed forces fired more than 1300 shots toward the Armenian position-holders from various caliber artillery weaponry.
The vanguard units of the Defense Army kept the ceasefire. In case of necessity they apply corresponding measures continue to control the situation and carry out their duty.
