On 10 May 2016, “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” Non-Governmental Organization (ALA) in cooperation with the CSOs group of Syunik marz of CSOs’ Anti-Corruption Coalition organized an Anti-Corruption event on the theme “ Corruption Risks in the Field of Public Welfare Payments in Syunik Marz”
During trials in France, the parties wear court-dresses. Attorney Sevak Torosyan, a French-Armenian now living in France who is also a member of the French Bar Association, believes that the parties should also wear court dresses during trials in Armenia.
In 2015, the regional Departments of the RA Investigative Committee initiated 216 criminal cases on the corruption crimes that are subject to investigation by the RA Investigative Committee. 75 cases were investigated in the General Department of Military Investigations of the RA Investigative Committee.
On 13 May the First Government – Civil Society Anti-Corruption Conference and the 2nd Conference of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition will take place in Yerevan.
