On 16 March another judicial sitting on the case of former Head of the RA Judicial Department State Administrative Agency, Misak Martirosyan and others took place at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Communities.
On today’s sitting the court satisfied the motion of the accused Misak Martirosyan inviting his First Deputy Nora Karapetyan to the court as a witness. She told that knows the accused from the work.
She told that the Department employed only those who were considered winners in the result of the competition, and that the head of the department wasn’t allowed to employ anyone by his own initiative.
Introductory statements of Ruzanna Darbinyan were proclaimed, because she is not in the Republic now. In her statement Ruzanna Darbinyan had told that she had asked the former head of the Staff Management Department of the same establishment Angin Ghukasyan to employ her son Michael Stepanyan. Angin Ghukasyan had answered that it will be necessary to agree with Misak Martirosyan and also 1000 USD will be needed.16 days after the application Angin Ghukasyan had called her and told that Misak Martirosyan agreed to employ her son for money.
On the next day Ruzanna Darbinyan had given Angin Ghukasyan the money which she would have transfer to M.Martirosyan.
After that her son participated in the competition and won it.
In her statement R. Darbinyan had noted that she was satisfied with Angin Ghukasyan and Misak Martirosyan because they had kept their promise and employed her son. Her son had found out about the bribe during the preliminary investigation.
On today’s judicial sitting the court rejected two motions introduced by the accused Misak Martirosyan and his defender. First of them was asking to call the investigator compiled the preliminary proceedings into the court and examine him. The other one was related with the activities of preliminary investigation body referring the bribe.
During the sitting Misak Martirosyan noted that everything had been done for rejection his report, and the prosecution told that the defendant was is trying to hinder the trial.
The trial on the case of former Head of the RA Judicial Department State Administrative Agency, Misak Martirosyan and others ended by today’s sitting. The pleading will begin on 30 March.
