Witness was keep hungry for hours, and he had to give false testimony. The case of the Former head of the Judicial Department

Today only one witness Ruben Martirosyan came to the court session on the Case Misak Martirosyan and Others which was held in the Court of General jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash administrative Districts.

He told that he had learned about the vacancy in the Judicial department from his neighbor. On 2010 he came to the Judicial Department and agreed about the job. The witness told that after he submitted the application he was provided a bank card and after a certain time was invited to work in the court of General Jurisdiction of Ajapnyak and Davitashen districts, but he refused the work as he already had another job.

Ruben Hovsepyan also informed that he had cashed an amount of 30.000AMD from the mentioned above bank card. To the judge’s question why he was not interested wat money was that the witness answered, “I did not know anyone to find it out.”

The յudge also found differences in the witness’s evidences provided during preliminary investigation and in the court trial. They were contradicting.

During publication of the testimony the witness stated that the testimony was dictated by the investigators.

The witness told that the investigators kept him from 9 o’clock in the morning till 10 in the evening. “I was tired m hungry and thirsty. I was there all day long and told them tell me what you want and I shall write that,” he said and added that the testimony was dictated. The judge asked whether the episode with the name of the former Deputy Head of the Judicial Department Gegham Grigoryan was true to fact, the witness said that they were false. “I have written so as they dictated,. How can I mention Gegham’s name when I was did not know him,” he stressed.
