“The United States Senate Committee of Foreign Relations adopted a resolution condemning the Armenian Genocide,” Informs “Zhamanak” daily newspaper.
According to the newspaper, the resolution, which calls to condemn the Armenian Genocide, was adopted by 12 votes in favor and 5 votes against. The resolution was circulated by Chairman of the Committee Robert Menendez, representing the Democratic Party and the Vice Chairman Mark Kirk, representative of the Republican Party.
