The sit-in protest action against the rise of electricity tariffs is going on for already 7 days in Baghramyan Avenue.
Although the members of “No to Plunder!” civil initiative declared at the press conference that starting today they formally suspend the sit-in protest in the Liberty Square and will gather there from time to time to discuss their future plans, however the activists in Baghramyan Avenue refuse to leave the street.
One of the participants, Hayk Gabrielyan said, “There are people who are disappointed from discord, but I can say univocally that everything is still to come, and we are here to stand till the end, regardless the discord.” He also added that they stay in friendly relations with the coordinators of “No to Plunder” initiative, and the latter sometimes come to Baghramyan Avenue and all are ready and willing to continue the program together.
