Based on the 30 June 2011 Decision N978 and the decisions o 21 February 2015 of the the accreditation committee of National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance foundation, Armen Ashotyan, the RA Minister of Education and Science signed a decree on providing institutional accreditation of three higher education institutions. In Compliance with the decree Yerevan State University received institutional accreditation for six years, and the Armenian State Medical University and Armenian National Polytechnic University (former SEUA) received accreditation for 4 years.
Accreditation is based on the Bologna process also designed in accordance with international best practices, quality assurance standards, criteria and procedures.
The universities that received accreditation shall conduct internal institutional self assessment on biennial basis and provide the results to the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance foundation.
