On Friday evening opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was killed in the center of Moscow; “Interfax” news agency reported.
According to the source the assassination was carried out by one person who came out of a white car and shot four bullets in Boris
Nemtsov’s back when the latter accompanied by a young woman at the Bolshoi Zamoskvoretski bridge.
The assassination took place at 23:40 Moscow time.:
It is reported that President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the president was immediately informed about the assassination.
“The President strongly condemned the brutal murder, said that it was an ordered crime containing provocation signs,” said Peskov and added that Putin expressed his condolences to the relatives and friends of Nemtsov.
Boris Nemtsov was born in 1959. In 1991-1997. Nemtsov was the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Krai. In 1997 he was appointed Minister of Fuel and Energy, and then Deputy Prime Minister, until 1998, In 1999-2003 Boris Nemtsov. was the deputy of the State Duma.
