A negative practice has been formed in the institute of release on parole. Advocate Inessa Petrosyan said this in the interview to Iravaban.net. “There are different articles according to which people can be recommended to release on parole a dozen times. It is due to mention that they are introduced but they do not pass and they can reapply again only after three months,” Ms Petrosyan said.
She also said that she knows the statistics, according to which many of the convicts are introduced to release on parole for 10-15 times and are rejected by the commission. “Under many articles the commission simply does not allow to direct the rejection to the court, besides the commission as a rule does not provide the grounds for its rejection, they deny and that is all,” the advocate said.
