This morning at 9: 00, the Azerbaijani army special operations units initiated attacks in the direction of some military positions of in Berd region; Artsrun Hovhannisyan informs about this. In his Facebook page he posted that the Armenian side had two losses and some wounded. Below is the post:

“The enemy continues activities aimed to destabilizing the situation on the border and continues its diversion attempts and attacks in different sections of the RA and NKR border line. Azerbaijanian armed forces without much regard to their heavy casualties, which they simply hide, continue to implement strategically meaningless diversions. The number of Infringements that they had committed during the night is over 300. This morning at 9: 00, the Azerbaijanian army special operations units initiated attacks in the direction of some military positions of in Berd region. The corresponding units of the Armenian Army discovered those in time and accept battle, which lasted around half an hour. The enemy suffered losses and was thrown back. Unfortunately the Armenian side suffered two losses and some wounded. Lieutenant Karen Galstyan and soldier Artak Sargsyan were killed.

 The RA Defense Ministry shares the grief of loss of our soldiers and expresses support to their family members, relatives and friend.
