Non Professional and unrelated to the sphere people are doing judgments: Ashot Aharonian

Head of the Public Relations and Information Department of the RA Police Ashot Aharonyan wrote the following in his Facebook page:

“Following the news stream of the recent days I am surprised as people unrelated to the sphere, who are not unaware of the facts, with serious and academic expressions on their faces, make judgments on the operative work of the law enforcement bodies. No one is against the judgments. But the people who do this should at least be former professionals of the sphere, or at least the beginners making reference to the professional literature (although the literature on operational-intelligence activities is not available to everyone). Not at all. These people are neither of the aforesaid. They even do not consider. They simply judge and make judgments…

The situation is extremely sensitive. The incident in Gyumri is more than a crime, and sitting in cozy and warm places and making conclusions under the impression of action or detective serials, which moreover are provided as the eventual truth, gently speaking is shameful and does not slander the representative of the law authorities who carries out his duty. It rather defames the person who performs such conclusions and analysis, and at the best causes the smile of the expert, while in the worst case…

Anyhow, everyone has the right to express opinion, and in general, the right to expression, but any self-respecting man will just refrain from speaking about the issues that are far from their imagination or education.

And when I see this kind of behavior in social networks, it is still possible to reconcile with. But when such dilettantish analyzes appear in the mass media, then this is really concerning and I am not sure whether the calls for prudence and responsible attitude in this case will make any sense.
