The Russian “Kommersant.ru” informs that Deputy Defense Minister of the RA Arkady Bakhin, who is in Armenia to investigate the circumstances of the case of emergency, informed the RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan about the official investigation at the 102nd military base.
According to the source in the Russian Defense Ministry, the leadership of the RF Defense Ministry intends to strictly punish all those who have in any way been involved in the incident.
Thus, according to the source, during the “debriefing” reprimands and warning referring to the service incompetence will be made to the leadership of the military base.
The Defense Ministry also emphasized, that the materials of the inspection would be sent to the investigating authorities for initiating criminal prosecution on negligence (Article 293 of the RF Criminal Code).
