The Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Ministry of Defense informs that the block house built with the financial support of the Ministry of Defense in the bordering Artsvaberd village of Tavush marz is designated for the officers and their families.
The RA Minister of Defense attended the house warming ceremony. The Minister handed the keys and the privatization documents of 12 flats to the officers and in his congratulatory speech emphasized the importance of the improvement of social and everyday life conditions of the military servants, as each officer should have its own warm corner to be able to continue the military service duly. The Minister noted that soon 50 families of military men will receive flats in Tavush marz as well.
Further the Minister met with the military personnel of the military unit of 3rd Army troops and the community heads of the region. During the meeting they summarized the activities carried out in 2014 and discussed the future work.
Seyran Ohanyan, the RA Minister of Justice Hovhannes Manukyan and the Governor of Tavush marz Hovik Abovyan visited the frontier guards’ control points as well, where they got acquainted with the conditions of carrying out the duties, the military preparedness of the soldiers and their moral and psychological state, their everyday life and conditions.
The tour in Tavush marz ended in one of the units of the military police, where the ministers participated in the opening ceremony of the disciplinary battalion of the 3rd Garrison.
