A criminal case was initiated based on the report filed by the citizen Tamar T., according to the materials prepared in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia under the requirements of Part 1 of Article 308 and Part 2 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
Tamar T. informed that on August 6, 2014, the officers of Erebuni Police Department of the Republic of Armenia, beat her husband, exercised violence against him and then took him to the Police Department where he was arrested after being illegally detained for one day.
In addition, after being arrested, the employees of “Nubarashen” Criminal-Executive Institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia did not provide any respective medical assistance to her husband, and as a result he died on 26 November 2014.
