Today, at the Government session, the Prime Minister spoke about the fluctuations in currency market and inflation. He said that he had met with the representatives of international organizations. Hovik Abrahamyan also informed that the currency market is moving to stabilization.
Referring the inflation, the Prime Minister said that the day before misuse had taken place in the market. “The Government will not tolerate any unjustified price increases,” Mr. Abrahamyan said and added, “Yesterday, there were evident increases in prices of sugar, flour and some other consumer goods. I recommend to Mr. Shaboyan (Head of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Protection), to study the market in your organization and to provide me information on the everyday basis. I urge you to be strict towards any abuse. The Government shall not tolerate any unreasonable increase in prices.”
