Today the drivers of some routs of the public transport in Yerevan organized a stike near the church in Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District.
They were complaining against increase of the price for 1 cu/m of gas increased from 190 to 230 AMD. Alik Gevorgyan, Asvisor to the mayor of Yerevan and Henrik Navasardyan, Head of Transport department had arrived to hold negotiations with the drivers. The drives expressed their concerns․
Arthur Grogoryan, the Head of Information and Public Relations Department of Yerevan Municipality said that the officials of the municipality and the drivers had reached consent. “At this point we can say that the problem is solved and transport works normally,” he said.
