The Traffic Police had informed that new video and speed cameras would be operated in Yerevan staring 17 November 2014.
Specifically, the video cameras that are installed in:
1. Agatangeghos – Khorenatsi streets,
2. Mher Mkrtchyan – Khorenatsi streets,
3. Section near Chekhov school # 55 on Baghramyan Avenue. The Traffic Police applies to the drivers with request to keep traffic rules. The video camera here will also take photos of the cars that are parked on the second line in this section as well.
4. Crossroads of Garegin Nzhdeh – 1st lane of Verin Shengavit – S.Sargsyan Streets.
In addition new speed cameras will be operated from 17 November in:
1. Yerevan Tigran Mets Avenue (near school #119) two cameras two directions, the allowed maximum speed is 60 km per hour.
2. Kotayk Marz, Tsakhkadzor City, Tandzaghbyur street one speed camera, both sides the allowed maximum speed is 60 km per hour.
