On October 15 within the framework of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Artak Zakaryan, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, the Head of the RA NA Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly had a meeting with Tatjana Ž danoka, the Member of the European Parliament to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. During the meeting the interlocutors touched upon regional and international pressing issues and discussed issues concerning the preparatory works of the plenary session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Armenia on March 16-20, 2015.
On the same day Artak Zakaryan also met with Vilija Blinkeviciute, another member of the EU Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. At the meeting with the MEP Blinkeviciute the issues regarding the working agenda within the framework of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly were discussed.
The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan invited Tatjana Ž danoka and Vilija Blinkeviciute to Armenia to take part in the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide on April 24, 2015.
On October 15 within the framework of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Artak Zakaryan, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, the Head of the RA NA Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly had a meeting with Rolandas Paksas, the Vice Chair of the European Parliament to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, the Member of the Committee of the EU-Armenia, the EU-Azerbaijan and the EU-Georgia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.
During the meeting the works envisaged within the framework of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, as well as issues concerning the holding of the Plenary Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in Armenia on 16-20 March, 2015 have been discussed.
The parties have also touched upon the accession of the RA to the Eurasian Economic Union, highlighting Armenia’s willingness to cooperate in all the possible spheres.
At the end of the meeting the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan invited the MEP Rolandas Paksas to Armenia to take part in the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide on April 24, 2015.
