RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree today appointing Garik Avagyan president of the Court of First Instance of Malatia-Sebastia Community of Yerevan.

“Guided by the 11th provision of Article 55 of the RA Constitution and based on the Proposal by the Council of Justice from 12 September, 2014, I have made a decision to appoint Garik Avagyan president of the Court of First Instance of Malatia-Sebastia Community of Yerevan, dismissing his competences as a judge at the Court of First Instance of Arabkir and Qanaqer-Zeytun communities of Yerevan”, it is said in the decree.
By the decree of the RA Prosecutor-general from 25.12.2013, first-class counselor of justice Garik Avagyan, former judge at the Court of First Instance of Arabkir and Qanaqer-Zeytun communities of Yerevan, was firstly appointed as head of Corruption, Property and Economic Crimes Department, and on 26 July, 2014 he was appointed judge at the Court of First Instance of Arabkir and Qanaqer-Zeytun communities of Yerevan by the RA President`s decree.
