On August 27 the RA NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan met with Tian Changchun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China /PRC/ to the Republic of Armenia.
Public Relations and Media Department of the RA informs that at the meeting Mrs Naghdalyan presented the strained situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and on the line of contact in July and August, highlighted the stability and security in the region, once again underscoring the inadmissibility and non viability of a military solution to the problem. Ambassador Tian Changchun also highly appreciated Armenia’s conflict settlement endeavors through peaceful negotiations,Armenia’s political leadership’s position on the inadmissibility of threat and use of force. According to Ambassador Tian Changchun, only by means of peaceful dialogue the issue of stability establishment in the region can be solved.
Tian Changchun thanked Mrs Naghdalyan on the occasion of finishing his diplomatic mission, highlighting its role in the development and deepening of the Armenian-Chinese relations.
