The Special Investigatory Service of the RA initiated a criminal case under the Paragraph 2 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of the RA based on the report of V.M. the detainee at the “Artik” penitentiary establishment of the RA Ministry of Justice.
According to the detainee’s report on the way to Akhuryan department of Police department of Shirak Marz, in the police car, and in the administrative building of the same department the policemen applied violence against him in order to acknowledge offense.
According to information from the Special Investigatory Service the preliminary investigation is in process.
Note. Everyone charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by the court verdict lawfully entered into force as prescribed by Criminal Procedure Code.
