There are three candidates for the position of the Vice Prime Minister in the new Government to be established, informs “Haykakan Zhamanak” Daily. According to the newspaper one of them is davit Harutyunyan, who probably will be appointed Vice Minister-Chief of Government Staff to support H. Abrahamyan’s activity.
“The next probable candidate is Davit Lokyan, representative of ARF “Dashnaktsutyun”, whose son is a Hovik Abrahamyan’s long time assistant. There is information that Lokyan may be removed to the Government by suspending the ARF membership, that is without a Coalition Memorandum. And finally the current RA Vice Prime Minister, RA Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan, who is considered the most universal specialist of the current government. It is anticipated that he may fill any position in the Government. The latter, in fact is the most likely candidate for the post of Vice Prime Minister,” the newspaper writes.
