Today the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, member of the Prosperous Armenia party, Vardan Oskanyan announced in his Facebook page that he refused to witness in the framework of the initiated criminal case regarding him and his foundation, “Civilitas.” He also mentioned that it is clear from the massage of the National Security Service that in the framework of the criminal case he was going to be examined not as a witness but as a suspected. “Taking this into consideration, I decided not to witness according to my constitutional right,” wrote Oskanyan.
As a note, the National Security Service initiated a criminal case on “Money Laundering” on 25 May which regards Vardan Oskanyan and his foundation, “Civilitas”.
