On July 28, during a meeting with journalists, RA second President Robert Kocharyan’s lawyer Ruben Sahakyan in response to Iravaban.net’s question mentioned that they had petitioned for applying the pledge and the release of Robert Kocharyan, but the petition was rejected.

“It’s rather big, but not fabulous,” he mentioned about the size of the pledge.

The lawyer added that, the preliminary investigation body has the right to publish a certain section of materials that it will find expedient.

“Let us call to them to publicize the motion for choosing the measure for restraint which was discussed. And let them allow us to publish the accompanying documents. The testimonies that justify Robert Kocharyan and should have been provided to us were not provided,” he noted.

He notes that the preliminary investigation body conceals the “positive” testimony of the officer staff on Robert Kocharyan.
