At today’s press conference, RA second President Robert Kocharyan’s lawyer Ruben Sahakyan stated that during the process of choosing the measure for restraint  they understood that this was an order.

Ruben Sahakyan mentioned that he can guess who made the order but he cannot publicize it because he can be mistaken.

“The perpetrators are in the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Special Investigation Service. In my conviction, there are also others who are guilty,” he said.

“Once it will be revealed. We have seen mysterious things, we saw ignorance, saw distortion of facts, and saw that people did not understand what they were doing. We have no investigative apparatus, it has been exhausted and died. Only a small group of investigators are worthy of praise. The same is true for other places: in courts. As a substantiated suspicion, one case is that 10 years after an “x” case, testified that someone had told him there were shots at that time,” he said, noting that the information received from an unidentified person cannot be a proof that “x” is unknown, it cannot be a circumstance that justifies Kocharyan’s crime.
