The Need for the Improvement and Development of Cross-Cutting Electronic Agriculture: Training for Civil Society Representatives

On July 11, two training courses within the framework of the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project were held for participants of the Kapan Civic Organizations Incubator. The topics of the trainings were: “Justice: The Need of Improvement of Ethical Behavior in the Judicial System” and Agriculture: the need for the improvement and development of cross-cutting electronic agriculture.”

Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Mentors’ Group Coordinator/Justice and Related Sectors Mentor of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project presented the need to improve ethical behavior in the judiciary.

Mr. Artur Gomktsyan, Expert of SME Cooperation Association explained what the electron farming is. In his words: the electronic  agriculture is the design, development and application of new forms and methods of information and communication technologies in agriculture. It contributes to the development of agriculture and community development through information systems and communication processes.

Arthur Gomktsyan also noted that electronic agriculture helps to improve the living standards of those involved in agriculture through:

  • higher productivity
  • increase income
  • risk reduction
