First Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan made a statement where he touched upon the situation in Yerevan.

 “All of us, citizens of the Republic of Armenia, hoped that today’s negotiations will find solutions to the current situation. Unfortunately, one of the parties, Mr. Pashinyan, came to negotiations to dictate his conditions rather than to negotiate. In this situation, the dialogue could not produce results because the position of one of the parties was initially destructive and did not imply to agree.

 I appeal to all the political forces, citizens of the Republic of Armenia, to display vigilance and soberness. Our ultimate goal is to maintain the stability of the country and to ensure solutions to it, not to undermine the normal life of the country,” Karen Karapetyan said.
