Today, the newly elected President Armen Sargsyan and his spouse were hosted at the residence of the President of Armenia before the inauguration ceremony.

President Serzh Sargsyan and Mrs. Rita Sargsyan welcomed Armen Sargsyan and Mrs. Nune Sargsyan.

At the reception at the presidential residence, President Serzh Sargsyan noted that in a few minutes the ceremony of assuming the office of the newly elected president would take place and once again wished Armen Sargsyan success.

“Mr. Sargsyan, we had the opportunity to speak about the imperatives of our country’s development. I am sure that after a while we will be able to record success. We are simply condemned to success. Of course I’m sure Mrs. Nune will help you because it’s just a necessity,” President Serzh Sargsyan said.

The newly elected President thanked Serzh Sargsyan and Mrs. Rita Sargsyan for hospitality.

“Mr. President, I also agree that there is no other way apart from success. And I think that the fundamental to this success is not only the last 30 years, but especially the last ten years. Of course, I look forward to working closely with you for many years. I am sure that Nune will help me not only that she is my friend for already 50 years but also my spouse for 40 years, but also due to the fact that she has a brilliant example of Mrs. Rita of how to support the President, to help and not only to support, and also to be a leader in some a certain direction. So, I think there is a lot to do. I am ready to work,” the newly elected President Armen Sargsyan said.
