Today, Arman Tatoyan, Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia met with Mr. Jos Douma, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia and Georgia.
During the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation program to assess the introduction and development of the probation system in Armenia.
The objective of the project is to assist the Defender’s staff to assess and monitor the introduction and development of the Probation Service in Armenia, aimed to highlight the current legislative and practical issues in the area.
Other directions of cooperation were discussed at the meeting as well.
