The situation on the line of contact of confronting NKR – Azerbaijani armed forces at the night of 28 February and to the morning of 1 March remained tensed. Especially intensive violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded during the night. The enemy used different caliber weapons firing more than 1100 shots in the direction of the Armenian positions. In the East western (Martuni) direction in addition to different caliber mortars and “D-44” canons, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired from “TR-107” type artillery-rocket launchers (5 rockets). Yesterday the enemy used SPIKE type of anti-tank missile as well.
The Defense Army has not suffered losses as a result of the enemy’s violation of the ceasefire.
Where necessary, the Defense Army forces applied responsive measures to suppress the enemy’s activity and confidently carried out their military tasks.
At this moment the situation at the front line is calm.
