From the night of 16 and to the morning of 17 February, a growth of violations of the ceasefire regime was recorded on the line of contact of the NKR-Azerbaijani troops.
In the mentioned period, the enemy violated the ceasefire regime on the line of contact 85 times, during which they fired more than 800 shots from different caliber weapons, including D-44 type cannons, mortars, and grenade launchers towards Armenian positions. Particularly the Azerbaijani armed forces used D-44 type cannon, 60 and 82 mm mortars, RPG-9 and RPG-7 mortars. In total the enemy shot 21 shells.
The Defense Army forces took countermeasures to suppress the Azerbaijan activities and continued carrying out their military service.
At this moment the situation is calm in the forefront.
