Authorities have banned the imports of several Iranian products to Armenia amid documented bird flu cases in the country.
According to the executive order of the director of State Service for Food Safety (SSFS), a temporary ban has been imposed on imports of all kinds of live poultry from Iran’s Qazvin, Tehran, Kermanshah, Gilan, Golestan and Merkezi provinces. The ban includes all kinds of poultry products until the Iranian authorities shall report about the elimination of the bird flu.
The ban does not include products which where imported from Iran before January 20.
