Mushegh Babayan was awarded the Rank of Major General of Justice

Today, we learned that Mushegh Babayan, Deputy Head of the Special Investigation Service of the RA, Colonel of Justice has been awarded the rank of Major General of Justice by the decree of the RA President Serzh Sargsyan.

Mushegh Babayan was born on 22 November, 1975 in Yerevan. He graduated from the faculty of Law of High School of National Security Service and the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. He started professional activities in the police, as investigator, and held senior positions in the police system. He works in the Special Investigation Service of the RA since 2011, first as an investigator for particularly important cases, the senior investigator and Deputy Head of the Special Investigation Service of RA.

Mushegh Babayan parallel with work to continuously improved his skills and knowledge. He has been trained in the United States, studied at the Institute of the Russian Interior Ministry participated in the courses for qualification of police officers, and in the qualification courses for the law enforcement bodies against the human trafficking in the International Training Center of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. He was awarded the “Mkhitar Gosh” Medal.

Mushegh Babayan is married, and has four children.
