Based on Serzh Sargsyan’s Decree, Movses Hakobyan has been appointed Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces. The Decree reads:
“Governed by Article 55 (12) of the Constitution of the RA with amendments of 2005, I decide to appoint Movses Hakobyan to the position of Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces.”
Upon another decree of the President, Movses Hakobyan was released from the position of Deputy Defense Minister – Chief of the Administrative Support Department of the RA Defense Ministry.
