Yuri Hayrapetyan, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Artsakh, has resigned. According to the information of the Staff he was planning to resign in the beginning of the year, but stayed at his post to prepare the report of 2015.
The Ombudsman expressed his gratitude to all his colleagues for their joint work.
Notably, NKR Human Rights Defender has submitted the Report on Interim Report on Atrocities committed by Azerbaijani Military Forces against the Population of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and Servicemen of the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army on 2-5 April 2016.
