Property of the Chairman of the RA Central Bank and His Wife

Arthur Javadyan was appointed the Chairman of the RA Central Bank on 6 November 2008. According to his and his wife’s declaration on property and assets they have accumulated quite serious assets since 2011.

In 2011, A. Javadyan purchased a land plot for 224.910 AMD and two private houses with the price of 20.35 million and 105 million AMD respectively. During one year, property worth 125.6 million AMD was acquired.

At the beginning of 2011 he had 257 million AMD, 305 thousand USD and 192 thousand EUROs. At the end of the year the funds decreased and totaled to 125 million AMD, 410thousand USD and 165 EUROs.

During that year a significant portion of his income was received from the interest of loans granted. In fact they were in Armenian currency – 10.3 million AMD and in USD – 8000 dollars. Remuneration for labor totaled to 27.7 million AMD, income from shares was 118 thousand AMD. He had other income as well, which were mostly in foreign currency – 68588 USD, 1164 EUROs and 805871 AMD. Total income was about 39 million AMD, 76588 USD and 1164 EUROs.

In 2012, the Chairman of the RA CB bought jubilee coin for 24 million AMD. At the end of the year his funds totaled to 105 million AMD, 435 thousand USD and 205 thousand EUROs. His income in Armenian currency during this year were about 45 million AMD, of which 26 million AMD was remuneration for labor, 100.000AMD was received form shares, 13.4 million AMD from the interest of loans, the remaining funds were received from other sources. His income in the US currency was 44 thousand USD of which about 23 thousand USD was interests from provided loans and the remaining was from other sources. He had an income of 312 EUROs as well.

At the end of 2013 his funds increased and totaled to 110 million AMD, 211 thousand EUROs and 470 thousand USD. Whereas revenues as compared to the previous two years decreased. Specifically the income in Armenian currency totaled about 36.4 million AMD, of which 26 million was remuneration for labor, 1.7 million AMD was loan taken, 100 thousand AMD was income from shares, and the rest was the interest from the loans. The interest received from loans in US Currency was 37782 USD and 993 EUROs.

In 2014, when re-assuming the post, Arthur Javadyan declared 4 land plots, two private houses built on the land plots with their back offices, 1 flat in an apartment house, a VOLKSWAGEN TOUAREG V6 3.5 and a 2 million AMD worth share.

In 2014 he bought another private house built on a land plot with its back offices and paid 54 million AMD. The funds decreased slightly, to 110 million AMD, 160 thousand EUROs and 470 thousand USD. His revenues decreased as well and totaled to 27.6 million AMD, of which 24.5 million was remuneration for labor, the rest was received from interests of loans given. The income in foreign currency amounted to 35177 USD and 2020 EUROs, which were received as interests for the loans given.

At the beginning of 2011, Arthur Javadyan’s wife Hasmik Manukyan had 217 million AMD, 305 thousand USD and 335 thousand EUROs. At the end of the year she had 210 million AMD, 325 thousand USD and 340 thousand EUROs. Her revenues in Armenian currency during the year amounted to 44.3 million AMD of which 4.6 million AMD was remuneration for labor, 16.8 million AMD was income from rent, and the rest was interests for shares and other income. She had an income of about 5700 USD as well.

At the end of 2012, Hasmik Manukyan’s funds totaled to 155 million AMD, 405 thousand USD and 385 thousand EUROs. The revenues in Armenian currency were 28.5 million AMD of which 3.6 million AMD was remuneration for labor, 17.7 million AMD was income from rent, and the rest were interests from rent and other income. She had an income of about 27300 USD.

In 2013, the CB Chairman’s spouse acquired a private house built on a land plot with its back offices and paid 74.5 million AMD for it. Her funds at the end of the year amounted to 75 million AMD, 390 thousand EUROs and 450 thousand USD. Revenues as compared with the previous year were nearly the same: 28.3 million AMD of which 3.7 million USD was remuneration for labor, income from rent (she gave for rent two properties) was 24.5 million AMD. The rest of the income was the interest received from loans. She had an income of 9573 USD and 4300 EUROs from the interest for loans.

In 2014, Hasmik Manukyan bought a vehicle LEXUS NX 300 H 2.5GAS for 28.4 million AMD. At the end of the year her funds amounted to 60 million AMD, 470 thousand USD and 380 thousand EUROs.
During this year her revenues as compared with the previous year significantly decreased. Her revenues amounted to 25.3 million AMD of which 3.6 million AMD was remuneration for labor, income from rent (she gave for rent three properties) was 11.7 million AMD, and the rest was interests from loans. She had an income of 34661 USD and 3725 EUROs from the interest for loans.
