On 28 November, 73 graduates of RA School of Advocates, who have overcome the qualification exams, received the license on advocate. The RA Chamber of Advocates informs about this.

In the solemn session of the Board of the RA Chamber of Advocates, the graduates swore to act honestly and faithfully, preserve advocate’s secrecy, protect the rights, freedom and interests of the clients, guided by the RA Constitution, laws and Advocate’s Code of Ethics.

The President of the Chamber of Advocates congratulated the newly licensed lawyers and advised to stay away from processes including the corruption risks. Ara Zohrabyan noted: “The job of the advocate does not start and end with completing the client’s orders. We shall remember that the lawyer has a special role in the society. Today, we got stronger due to your membership.”

Mr. Simon Babayan, the Director of RA School of Advocates also congratulated the graduates on the occasion of receiving the license and wished successful work. He urged not to lose the connection with the School of Advocates during their work.

Member of the Chamber of Advocates Qualification Commission Sedrak Asatryan on his turn introduced his piece of advice to help them avoid difficulties in their work.

Ms Zaruhi Postanjyan, the MP of the RA NA was present at the ceremony as well. Ms Postanjyan informed that she had also joined the Chamber of Advocates 16 years before. She said “In 2006, I was standing in front of brutal force, but the decision of life imprisonment was changed and my clients were free, and now one of them Arayik Zalyan is becoming a member of the freethinker’s community”.

Four graduates of the School of Advocates closed the ceremony.
