At the extended session of the Board of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office discussed the Decision of 17.11.2011 of the Constitutional Court of the RA on the issue of compliance of Article 21 Part 4 of the RA Criminal Procedure Code to the RA Constitution, which the CC considered based on the request of the General prosecutor’s Office. In its decision the Constitutional Court ruled that Part 4 of Article 21 of the RA Criminal Procedure Code complies with the RA Constitution.
Pursuant to Article 102 Part 2, this decision is final and shall come into force upon publication.
RA Prosecutor General’s assigned corresponding instructions issuing from this decision to the department heads of the prosecution Office and the Prosecutors of marzes. Representatives of preliminary investigation bodies participated in the session as well.
